I got the virus on my computer yesterday just by scrolling through the minecraft skins. i do not know how they did this but i am outraged that i have to pay someone to fix it just becuase this website does not have sufficient virus protection. i will not use this website ever again becuase of this stupid virus! now i can not enjoy playing minecraft.

Just to clear it up, the viruses that are being warned about need to be downloaded. You can't pick them up just through 'scrolling through skins'. At some point you clicked on something and/or downloaded something that infected your computer. And, to be clear, you can't get a virus from downloading skins on this website.

One of the Viruses is strtd.exe, it disguises as windows media center, It's really nasty, it glues itself to your registry and just constantly downloads files.

As a word of advice, If something looks too good to be true, It probably is.

lucky for me i have a strong firewall and scanner the are custom programmed for my needs cuz we have gotten hacked at my house......................bad
