I've wondered how long it's been since there's been an RP that is strange and unusual. So I made one.
This is not a server RP.
<~Storyline~>
As you walked down the street, you saw a advertisement. It was about a new game, named "Crystal Lore". From what you could see, it looked like an exceptional game. Something which many people would most likely buy. Upon looking closer too that advertisement, you notice that there's more text.
Looking for testers. Just send in an application as to why you should be one to the following address:

Of course, if this game was going to be as popular as you thought it would be, you were obviously going to apply for it. You went straight home, and began to fill out an application. You tried to think of every reason possible, which took a long time. But you finally finished.
As you sent off the letter, you felt relieved. Perhaps all that writing would actually pay off. Maybe you would be able to participate in something that could really be popular. It all came down to if you got accepted.
You got a reply within 1 hour. In your opinion, that was somewhat strange. Can mail get sent that fast? Probably not. But then again, if people were to be kept waiting, they'd loose interest. You opened the letter and read.
"Congratulations, you're going to be a tester of our new game, Crystal Lore!
During this testing you will be able to see some early development of the game. You will also be able to experience this game in a way that hasn't even been attempted before. All you need to do now is go to this address:

As you entered the building you were told to go to, you were amazed. There was actually many stuff you've most likely never seen before. Two people led you towards the testing room, where you saw many other people who were accepted to be able to participate in testing the game.
The game creators began to explain the mechanics of the game.
"To cut a long story short, this game revolves around using crystals do do a variety of things. This includes making weapons." The first creator said. He seemed to stare at each of the testers.
"For example, to make a magic stave you may need to find a crystal of fire. And use some kind of mystic wood." The second creator added. She was constantly looking at the computer screen, as if it was supposed to do something important.
"How would you get these crystals? By killing monsters, doing quests...and killing other players. When a character dies, you die for good. Just like in real life. Now, who wants to start playing?"
Everyone seemed to raise their hand.
"Well, now you're apart of the game." The first creator said, darkly. The second creator typed on the keyboard, the computer screen started to flash a variety of colours. And you felt like it was pulling, pulling you inside of cyberspace. Some of the testers were screaming while this happened, there was noise everywhere. And from what you could see, you were entering the screen.

....
You woke up, in a field. However. You were in plains. Digital plains. This is where you begin your adventure to escape. As you stand up, you notice on your back that there's a backpack. You look inside of it, confused. There was a note.
"Do you enjoy our new game? In here you'll have to fight for your life. Unless of course you can find and defeat the six guardians of Crystal Lore."
You don't know who these "six guardians" are. But you do want to escape, so you set off too look for information.
<~Rules~>
1) No godmodding, metagame, bunnying or overpowered/perfect characters.
2) Nobody should have a weapon, everyone starts in the plains. Which is basically grasslands.
3) You must have proper grammar and spelling. Capital letters and all. Use spellcheck or something.
4) An Acceptor's ruling is final. You have 3 chances to apply. Maximum of 4 characters. The answer to the unusual application question is yes.
5) No homeless orphans.
6) Delete the bracketed text in the application.

<Six Guardians>
Put into the game in order to stop people from escaping. Each one owns a gem which must be obtained by defeating a guardian in combat. In order to find the way out, you would need all six gems. Meaning that if anyone else gets a gem, you'll have to somehow get it from them. The guardians lack age due to being programmed. But they do possess human intelligence. There can only be six.
