[NPC's are still kinda WIP, since the new 1.3 update][Apocalypse Restarts every evening at Central European time.]
Welcome to Apocalypse.
This server simulates the end of the world.
In these 10 days before the horror you will try to survive Meteors, earthquakes, heavy storms and a lot more.
Gameplay
In Apocalypse. You start out in a wasteland surrounded by Bedrock.
The wasteland is the only safe place for now. All last remaining humans will gather there, to prepare for the end.
Wood
The wasteland has almost no wood, so making a tree farm is number 1 on your to do list.
Animals
Animals do not spawn on the wasteland, these all died due the hot weather and the fact there is no grass.
Seeds
Finding seeds is also pretty hard. You might find some in ruins or caves.
About ruins, in the wasteland you will find some small homes or ruins that have treasure. It might be not so useful, but it sure helps you.
Meteors and other Apocalypse stuff
Of course, in Apocalypse. There have to be some things that have to do with the apocalypse. Right?
-Meteors
You have a few types of meteors.
- Normal Meteor. [Falls at the beginning]
[These Meteors are made out of netherrack, and are mostly lit on fire. They make a area explode when landing, the more days that pass, the more they will land.
- Cold Meteor/ Obsidian Meteor [Falls after 5 days]
[These meteors have a extreme impact on the surface and even underground. They have 3 sizes, (Small,Normal,Big.. duh) , when the Meteor Warner says a big one will land, means you will need to go deep underground, because these have a giant impact and will hurt players nearby.
-Molten Meteor [Falls after 2 days]
[This meteor is just a pile of lava, they are molten, so once they hit the surface, they make for a great lava source. ]
-Ore Meteors [Falls after 7 days]
[These meteors are balls of ore, how better the ore, how more impact it has. ex. Coal has less impact then Diamond]
-Red Star [Falls at the last day]
[The Red star is the meteor that will end everything, it has a giant impact and will destroy everything in its area, if your lucky enough to survive this one. You could come up to the surface and look at it .
Other Stuff
- Burning Wastes [Happens and stays after 4 days]
[This makes it so after 4 days each time you come up to the surface, you will burn to death. Since the Red star is coming closer and closer it gets hotter and hotter. Wearing armor will prevent this from happening. Though after a few days it might not]
- Supreme Storm [Happens after 1 day]
[This is a storm that happens mostly at night, due the meteors strange lighting bolts will fall down on the ground all over the wasteland, beware they don't hit you]
-Earthquakes [Happens after 6 days]
[These things will fuck up any base/ house on the surface. While they don't last long, their destruction is big]
-Melting Ground [Happens after 8 days]
[This will happen do hotness, the ground will melt and your homes with it.]
[There might be other stuff i think of. During the game.]
Tips
- Always build your base underground with a roof and walls made out obsidian.
- Diamonds should not be wasted on Armor. Use them for tools to harvest obsidian.
- The ultimate protection is having 1 or 2 blocks of water in a room. Water blocks most of the impact from explosions.
- Look around the whole wasteland before making a base.
