Staff, what we need, and are looking for:

Staff are very important to us here on KingOfNations, I believe, as a Server Owner, that no one should have powers that can be abused, unless 100% sure. With this said, my self, and all the other staff members will NOT have any sort of advantage over our users economy wise or pvp wise.

Yes, we're currently looking for staff members for KingOfNations, below is the application for it. Make sure to understand we're looking for True, Mature, trustworhty, dedicated members for the staff of KingOfNations, it wont be easy to get accepted, we're looking to go far on the Minecraft server database, and expect all applicants to have the same tone of mind.

You can only apply for a few positions, although, if you show your worthy of a new rank, we will adjust your rank depending.

Staff Positions Needed:

Developer - Developers are the people who are working behind the scenes to keep the server running smoothly and without incident. It is the developers responsibility to keep the server from crashing and to keep it from becoming too laggy. as a developer you get the ability to re-start the server, to butcher mobs, and to help us consider new plugin options. If it weren't for developers most servers would not be running smoothly if at all, be warned this can be a high stress job but can be very worth it if you enjoy computers or the feeling that you have helped people enjoy their stay on KingOfNations.

Moderator - Moderates are the backbone of the server. They keep it calm and running. They enforce the rules and encourage people to follow them.This user should show a lot of dedication towards the server. They should be online often and always have the need to help new members. This is not an easy job, and you should not apply just for the title.

Trial Moderator - The Trial Moderator is what you get ranked to if we feel we need to see you in action before fully promoting you to Moderator, not all moderators will have to go through trial, only those we feel need too. As a Trial Moderator you should have the same expectations as any other normal Moderator/Trial Moderator.

2. How often will you be on the server? Depends on how much I like it.

4. Why will you join KingOfNations? Because I need to earn more experience as a staff member, and when I help people, I feel smart.


Main Questions:

Why would your Moderating help the server? I am kind, patient, just, I listen to everyone, and think before acting. I might be kind, but if someone breaks a rule, I will punish him/her.

What makes up stand out from all the other applicants? *EDIT* I am very patient and friendly, but I can still enforce rules in a good way.

Why do you think you might not be picked? Well....I am kind of addicted to a strict rp server, and I spend alot of time in it; might not spend enough time here, but ill check on the server when possible.

How well do you know the rules? I havent been on the server, but its the basic stuff right? No griefing etc etc. I can learn them fairly quick.

Do you think patience is a vital trait in a moderator? Yes, absolutely.

The server may get fast-paced and you may be overwhelmed with the users, how would you handle this? Well.....I would make a cup of tea, it makes me feel calm.

A person just joins the server and is advertising a different server. What do you do? One word: ban. Advertisers are not welcome!

You see a moderator starting to get frustrated, you worry he/she may let their anger out on the server. What do you do? I try to keep an eye on said moderator.

You are the only moderator online and do not know an answer to a problem. What do you do? I say "I dont know, sorry", and wait for another staff member to get on.

A user is trolling the server. What do you do? This isnt as severe as griefing/advertising, a warning in form of a kick will be given, if the user doesnt stop, well, I warned him/her; ban.

Two users are in an arguement and accusing each other of scamming. What do you do? I tell them to be quiet and stop annoying people.

Why would your Moderating help the server? I belive it would help the server because i am level headed and always try to see both sides of any argument, i also belive that minecraft should be enjoyable for everyone, except the people who use minecraft to lessen others

What makes you stand out from all the other applicants? i belive that my problemsolveing skills are good for solveing.... problems

Why do you think you might not be picked? i might not get picked because someone better wil come up for the job

The server may get fast-paced and you may be overwhelmed with the users, how would you handle this? I would try to concentrait on one thing at a time, but i am very good at multitasking so i would be rarely overwhelmed.

A person just joins the server and is advertising a different server. What do you do? I mute him for 10 minutes, if he continues to advertize i bring out the ban hammer

You see a moderator starting to get frustrated, you worry he/she may let their anger out on the server. What do you do? I keep my eye out on the moderator and try to sovle any disputes before the anger him/her

You are the only moderator online and do not know a answer to a problem. What do you do? I tell them i dont know the awnser and that maybe another moderator will come on with the awnser

First of all, I would just like to commend how you would recruit people by asking these questions. Prevents noobs from becoming staff and shows the people who actually deserve the job.

I would like to join KingOfNations for numerous reasons. One reason I would like to join this server because I believe it has potential. Judging the way the owner recruits staff is one thing. In addition, I would love to help out anther server in need.

Why would your Moderating help the server?
- I weigh things out before making a decision. Meaning I won't just ban a random player without sufficient evidence. Another thing is that I have a desire for a well balanced server, so I wouldn't even bother thinking of abusing.
What makes up stand out from all the other applicants?
- I've been playing in other servers as staff for quite a while now, meaning that I know what I'm doing and I know what I'm getting in too.
Why do you think you might not be picked?
- I might not be picked because there's a possibility that this application does not meet the standards of the owner.
How well do you know the rules?
- I will remember all the rules to ensure a better community.
Do you think patience is a vital trait in a moderator?
- Well yes, based on my experiences, I've seen many trial mods who are so impatient. Which then led to their demotion, some even got banned!
The server may get fast-paced and you may be overwhelmed with the users, how would you handle this?
- I don't really understand this question, do you mean that since there are a lot of people in the server they spam the chat? What I would do is to suggest them to go faction chat(if we have one) to lessen the spam.

A person just joins the server and is advertising a different server. What do you do?
- This would result to an instant ban, after a few warnings of course. Advertising another server is against the rules.
You see a moderator starting to get frustrated, you worry he/she may let their anger out on the server. What do you do?
- I will tell him to calm down, if he doesn't I will temporarily ban him from the server and ask him to be demoted by the owner.
You are the only moderator online and do not know a answer to a problem. What do you do?
- Try to contact senior staff. If they're not online, I will ponder on the best solution and try to solve the problem.
A user is trolling the server. What do you do?
- Give him a two warnings, if he fails to comply to it, he will be banned.

- Weigh things out before making a decision. The person with more sufficient evidence against the other player will result to a ban.
