Anyone else notice, iron golems arnt really spawning in villages anymore, ive barely ever seen one spawn naturally in one. Also, the villages i see are giant, also i even looked in th giant flatland villages, but none

idk. it was superflat and i was blowing it up to make room for my city, and i saw it and went WTF IS THAT THING? my friend: Ze Dark Wolf knows it cause i told him it. ill ask him tomorrow at school.

well i havent seen an iron golem in a village sence beggining of 1.2.5

I think there needs to be a certain amount of villagers or something, check MinecraftWiki.

well, it was a HUGE village

the village has to be big like 10 houses

They spawn every 16 villagers or so.
It's pretty rare for a natural village to be large enough to spawn them.

It has nothing to do with the number of houses. You can have one giant house with 70 doors, you'll have many golems spawn as a result.

its sad ive never seen an iron golem spawn naturaly the only time i c em is if i create one or if my friends creates one

They spawn in a BIG village, at least 21 wooden doors and 10 villagers. I got several to spawn when i built a village.
