I cant spawn mobs!

Please help me I can't spawn mobs on my server even with the /mob command. The difficulty of my server is normal I have one mod TooManyItems, I'm not sure whats going on please help.

Did you ever use the "Mob Spawner"? You can change what it spawns by MCEdit.

If your trying to spawn hostile mobs, maybe it's on peaceful. If they are peaceful mobs, then maybe they are blocked in that area. If not, I have no idea.

No I want to spawn a mob direct from a spawn egg and all I hear is the audio of the mob no image or display. The chickens eggs dont work either.

The server is on normal difficulty I checked the config. The mobs just dont spawn.

Never mind I fixed it, one of my admins made it so you can't spawn mobs in the entire world by accident. I fixed by doing /region flag <region name> mob-spawn allow.
