This thread will serve as a hub for those who share the idea of improving PlanetMinecraft's standard of RP. Recently the amount of creative threads, characters, and ideas have been on the downfall. We look to change that. As a member of the coalition you must prove yourself a confident roleplayer by posting creative roleplay, and making the experience better for all involved.
[1] General forum rules apply when talking here, don't forget 'em.
[2] Feel free to discuss RP ideas freely to receive the constructive criticism of the coalition. When discussing an RP do not refer to it in an overly negative manner, this really doesn't help anyone. However funny your jokes might be, tell them through PM.
[3] To become a member provide us with proof that you're dedicated to making this site's roleplay community better. One liners and unoriginal roleplay threads do not help this site.

Aero's guide to lengthier posts!
Silent, I'm not a good writer, but I love RPing!
This is understandable. However, it is fairly easy to make at least a par post by adding more description and/or actions. You do not necessarily have to be an amazing writer to be considered up to standard, you just need something a little longer than a one-liner post.
Bad:
"Jacob punched her. 'That's for making me pay the bill!'"
Better:
"Jacob lightly punched Jenna on the shoulder in a playful way, followed by a boyish giggle and a warm smile. "That's for making me pay the bill back at the restaurant. Now, shall we head back to the dorm? I need to get back onto a proper sleep schedule!" He said in a casual tone of voice."
See what I did? I made it clear what he was doing and why, and I also put insight for his next actions so that "Jenna" has more to respond to and has no reason to post a one-liner.
But wait! What if I'm in a situation where I can't do much!?
Fear not, this is possible to avoid as well! I will set the scene.
James has been kidnapped and he has been chained to a stone wall. A speaker starts talking to him, and he must respond.
All I know, a typical user would just post something along the lines of a one-liner. However, with moderate skill, this can be avoided. Look:
Bad:
"James said 'What do you want?'"
Better:
"James looked at the small speaker in the corner of the room. 'What do you want from me?!' He shouted angrily with a scared tone mixed in. He tried to struggle free from the iron chains, but his attempts were futile and he just ended up hurting himself a bit on them. A heavy sigh escaped as he looked down to the ground. It was all dusty and covered in tiny pebbles. It didn't even look cool like he imagined a stone cave to be when he was younger!"
