Fake notch on my server WTH help

so i was on my server today and suddenly someone with name Notch logged in my server we told him his fake and he ignored us we asked him about minecraft to test if he was real he knew every single thing then he went to creative plots bought a plot and started buidling something so strange a redstone machine then we challanged him to build a trap he built the best trap i ever saw in just 1 minute then we began talking with him and then i told him about my suggestion he told me tell me the suggestion and i may do it i told him to add monkeys he said he may do it he wasnt trolling or hacking then he just said he gtg and left

Am not stupid and yes my server is offline but that notch wasn't trolling hacking or doing anything bad also does anyone know where he lives because it said he came from us I also asked him hard questions about minecraft inside the code it self and answered he also told me that his little cousin told him about the server and his ign was smashing something am not sure about the name he also was testing for bugs and no his name wasn't gold

For the last time, Notch doesn't go on servers, let alone servers that are cracked.

Notch has confirmed multiple times when asked, he does not go on any servers. Most of the mojang team doesn't unless they are testing a multiplayer specific feature, but i'm sure they've got their own private test server.

Mojang team members have gone on servers just for lesiure, not testing, for example, C418 visiting the FyreUK server.

Well if your server is cracked I could hop on a skydoesminecraft so can anyone with any name but really if your server has disguse craft anyone can do it with perm

Fake Notch's lol. Yeah, it's fake, bro. People just impersonate "famous" minecrafters to get staff, and then mess the server up.

It could have been a plugin, mod, or multiple plugins. So never base it off of that. IF Notch is on your server, it's not Notch.

A few things, Notch isn't lead coder on Minecraft. There are a lot of great redstoners out there, just because someone is good doesn't mean they are Notch.(as Azie said & others said) I would turn the server to online mode, ban the Username Notch, and ban the ip of the person whom tried impersonating Notch.

Check the server.properties to see if your servers in offline mode. If so, that could be the problem.

I go through the code every day. There is nothing about any golden name in any player file. MP or SP.

B. When Notch comes on, you can't see him
C. He doens't respond to "Notch" He responds to "Marcus", because with the translate "Marcus" would be translated to "Notch"

Not even sure what this post was supposed to be. Obviously it was not the real Notch, I'm assuming your server is Offline mode so anyone could just take the name, simply ban the name Notch and nobody can use it. Just because they are good with redstone doesn't mean they created Minecraft.
People do this all the time, they pick a name like SkyDoesMinecraft, Notch or any number of other names and use it to either feel important, or get OP on the server to mess it up. Imposters is all.
