The Explanation

Well, I'll be as non-trolly as I can be about this. MLP: FiM, the latest generation which is quite different from the previous ones, is a show about ponies who do whacky crazy stuff that is funny and enjoyable to watch. There's also some good morals in it and it is written quite well.

The reason people like this show differ greatly. Some like the plot, others like the morals, others like how it is funny, and then some people like the internet memes. I fall into the latter 3 categories, and I'm not sure I could call myself a true brony since I'm way too trolly to be as mature and awesome as some other bronies around here.

The reason for the conflict, from my point of view, (I might be completely wrong) is that mlp was originally a girl's show in previous generations. What people don't realize is the show has changed a lot and is more like a normal cartoon show that anyone can watch. Also another reason for the conflict is a lot of the pornographic pony related stuff released into the internet, which is where the whole furry thing comes about. Not all bronies are into that kind of stuff, and it is selfish to think that all bronies are into that.

Anyway, that's my brony viewpoint on this, I'm not a very intelligent brony though, so I invite you to find out for yourself what the show is like. Cast aside the stereotype that the show is gay, because I and many others can assure you it is not, and watch a little bit. If you legitimately don't like the show, then I respect your opinion, and please give the same respect to others who do like the show.

The Apology

With some personal reflection on where I actually stand in all of this, I would say that I've been one of the bad bronies who keeps the flames of war burning. I will admit that I like ponies for trolling purposes. I find it enjoyable to see some people get worked up over a cartoon. I've used the show for my own enjoyment, even if it was at the cost of others. I used to think I was a brony, loyal to the show and the morals it taught, but now I see that isn't the truth. The truth is that I'm a brony who looks for trouble and fun. Fortunately, truth brings understanding, and now I see what I need to do.

Sorry to those who I've trolled. I'm a sarcastic guy who doesn't really know how to be mature. I tried to invite people to watch the show, usually by posting links to silly stuff that even a non-brony could enjoy. However, I upset a few people and probably annoyed a lot more. I guess that's just me not knowing how to be mature. To those whom I've upset, I owe the greatest apology. Hopefully, I and several others have learned something from all this.

Hmm well iv watched the first episode I can say as a non-Brony that the only thing girly is the fact that they're ponys, the way the show is written is almost perfect and feels more like anime more then a little girls show. Although I feel as if the writers have over done their job, they tried to make a children's show designed so that the person watching with the child would enjoy it as well but they did it too well and it has become more popular with the person watching with the child more then the actual child which has made the show less respectable to trolls and such, although it may feel like a anime it is a kids show non the less and therefore the writers should stop basing around the children and more to the teens and adults but this would make the show lose its sparkle and will change it. I think everyone needs to accept it, that trolls should accept that people watch it, and to Bronys that it is a show designed for a child.
