Okay, I have Minecraft on a PC. I cannot download forge for 1.7.9. Everytime I download the forge Installer, it opens up a file, not what is supposed to do. Please help. What should I do?

Its 100% normal. Just continue clicking till you find what you were looking for, and don't worry its not a virus at all.
