Minecraft PE Lite?

Does anyone know whatever happened to Minecraft PE Lite?

I'm just asking because it mysteriously disappeared, also tell me if this is an App Store Glitch for me..

If you have an Android device, you can just look up the APK for the demo in its web browser and download it that way easy-peasy. iOS users on the other hand are out of luck.
