Not going to write an essay, I made a hitmarker mod but since the way minecraft works I cant get who shot the arrow. Therefore it only works for swords.
Should I post this, is this still cool?

Duke, you may be able to use one of the arrow events, I think it is arrow loose, to add an extra datatag to the arrow that you could check when an entity is damaged.
