New mod, model help
Hi.
I've started making mods, and none of them seem to be... good enough for PMC. the reason for this is simple:
No matter who helps me, I can't seem to get the damn models to work.
I need help. If you know what to do to add models and get them to render properly in a legitimate mod(No MCreator), please. I need your help.
I use Eclipse, with forge SRC 1.8
That is all...

They do share .Json files, but the file organization is different than what I have seen for 3D resourcepacks.

I am currently moving all my mods to 1.8, I could show you how once I have them working But so far for normal items it seems pretty straight forward. Take a look at making 3d texture packs I think they use the same file types to add custom models.

Maybe check out minecraftforge.net :p http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/ind ... ,73.0.html
Pretty sure there's a better chance at finding help on there, than here.
But I may be wrong. Give it a try though.

It might be due to people on PMC not knowing the 1.8 model making.
So that could be the reason why people can't really help, but if you want, you can try Techne, and see the Minecraft source. (you might need IDEA to see the external.)
