I downloaded a mod called Enchanted biomes for minecraft 1.7.10. As I was searching around the new biomes I realized I couldn't find any oceans. I did find a new biome that was called ocean when I pushed F3. It had grass like block called Andisol. So I was wandering if oceans could even spawn or if they were removed by this mod.
