as well as the guideline set put by the thread its mainly being an active member of the community, being useful and helpful etc, report things, interact with the community, then one day you may wake up in the morning with a PM in your inbox that says "hey u wanna be a mod"
and can we make it clear that just because you ask to be a mod does not make you 100% never gonna be a mod, its more the people who keep asking over and over and spam things, there isn't an algorithm in pmc that's like "omg he asked for mod never gonna be one" the mods are handpicked picked by the other members of pmc staff
(a Lola note) and NO, you DON'T need connections to the staff to get noticed or promoted, please don't believe people who tell you that.
