Serina whipped around to face the person. She had a fire burning in her eyes.
"Don't say anything else. At all."
She went to kneel beside Richard.
"Can anyone help him?! Or do I have to do everything myself?!"
Tanya held up a bottle of something and grinned evilly at Richard.
"We have nasal Nectar. Sort of the same thing but only it's a misty type thing. Much more fun, if you're the person giving it to them."
Serina grabbed the bottle. She inspected the labels carefully, first.
"Richie, we can do this the hard way,"
She held up the nasal spray.
"Or the easy way."
She held up the drinkable Nectar. Serina smiled at Tanya and Tanya gave her a thumbs up.

Richard kept his emotionless stare. Vines grew around him, creating a barrier. He groaned, and flipped over, he now stared at the opposite wall.

"Ah crud Richie. Seriously I was just trying to help."
Serina stared at the vine barrier.
"You will have to come out of there sooner or later. The restaurant's almost completely done."
She turned to the other kids in the room. Serina motioned that they should go out of the room and they did.
"And if you really want, you can take me out to gamble. As long as they have UNO."

((Oh yeah. Bringing the UNO into play. ))

"UNO? No."
There was virtually nothing but words in his voice. Just echoes of the commands his vocal cords carried out.

"Fine then. I can learn to play poker, I guess."
Serina was indeed panicking now, though it didn't show in her voice. Richard was clearly losing all feeling.
"C'mon Richie, let's go see your restaurant."

"Restaurant. No."
Richard was no longer thinking. His brain was shoving out the answers. He just lied there, not even trying.

"You definitely don't sound like yourself! You need a wake-up call!"
Serina was panicking out loud now. Her thoughts raced. She paced the floor thinking of ways to snap him awake. One thought kept entering her mind and she pushed it away each time. She remembered the Frog Prince story, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White. The thought came more and more frequently until it was the only idea she had. She growled at it, the thought tempting her to do something she would definitely regret.
"Graa!! What do I do?!?!"

Richard did nothing but lie there. He would occasionally groan or twitch, but not much else.

Serina made up her mind. She was going to definitely regret this, perhaps instantly but it was for Richard's sake. She took her hunting knife out again and hacked away all signs of the vine barrier. She knelt down beside Richard and....

((OMG!!! *squeal* I am lost for words. Holy cow. Holycowholycowholycowholycow. I just had to type that. I couldn't resist. I had to. Now to see how this unfolds....))

Richard stared at Serina.
"What are you doi-"
He was interrupted by the kiss. His eyes were wide and he gently pushed Serina off.
"No girly. Not now. Perhaps another time."
He got up, and walked to a dark recess of the cellar, and hid. He was 'back' but he was still haunted by 'that memory'. He cowered into his thoughts, thinking about something else.

Serina stood up and walked back to the main floor without another word. Tanya and Lenny were really curious.
"Serina, how'd it go?"
"Is Richard back?"
Serina just answered their questions simply.
"It went fine and Richie is back, sort of."
She slammed the door behind her as she went to her hidden bunker. The Apollo twins just stared at the door and decided to ask Richard about it. They went into the cellar.
"Hey Richard, what happened?"
"Richard, you okay dude?"
Serina walked all the way to her bunker not slowing down or speeding up. She was lost in thought. She didn't care what was going on around her. Saying the one name that was the password, and slipping into the bunker was all she really focused on outside her thoughts. Serina laid on the couch and stared at the ceiling. Thinking was all she could do to prevent herself from sleep.
Did I really just do that? Yes, Serina you did. Oh boy, that was stupid of me. No it wasn't. Yes it was, he'll never like me now! No it wasn't stupid, did you hear what he said? No, tell me again. He said 'Perhaps another time'. He did?! Yes. Yay, he likes me! Clearly, or else he wouldn't have said that.
With the last thought, Serina fell asleep.
