Welcome to Lorecraft! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Roran234 and I have tryed to run a Roleplay server once before, but I did not make the correct preperations, so it failed. This will be a whitelisted, Hardcore Roleplay server, meaning if you go out of character for any reason other then when you first join or leave the server, or if the server is being updated, then you WILL get a warning. If you fail to follow this main rule, you will get 1 strike.

Rules
1.You must stay in character unless you first join/leave the server, or if the server is being updated.
2. No Greifing of any kind!
3. No profanity of any kind!
4. Faction PVP is allowed, but only if you roleplay it!
5. You must listen to ALL staff!

We will be implementing a 3 strike rule.
First strike broken, you will be kicked.
Second strike broken, you will be temporarily banned for an hour to 3 depending on what happened.
Third strike broken, you will be banned until I deem you worthy to be unbanned.

This will be a cheap dedicated server until we can get atleast $25 in donations (None of this money will be used for personal reasons, only for the server, so don't worry.) It will have around 512 MB of RAM. It will be 15 slots until we can get more ram. It would be very helpful if you would donate because it would help me provide you a better gaming experience.

We will be setting up a forum site later on to help keep this server organized. Once again, your donations will be used to help us set this up as well. We require you to fill out this form to make sure that you will be able to join the server. All you have to do is fill it out, and I shall review it. I won't be taking a look at them until atleast 5 people have applied. I hope you guys can be patient for that long.

Backstory and Lores of all the races.
This section is made to help other people understand which races like or hate other races. Some also have the possibility of being neutral to each other. You can choose what kind of special character that allows you to like a race that your race normally does not like, but I wouldn't recommend it, because the other race might not have any people that like you. Throughout the Roleplay, I will be changing this, so it will be updated frequently. It will be changed because of how people interact with eachother and do things for eachothers races. If you have any questions, just PM me and I will try to answer them as best as I can. This will also keep people from posting that they are Slime ninjas.

HUMANS
Long ago, a meteor crashed on the world known as Loreon, and carried small microbes that multiplied as the world had perfect living conditions. Food, Water, and Air they did not need at first, but as they grew, they grew with the world, so they required these things. The other species on the Planet named them Humans as they grew to be Intellectual two-legged creatures. They reigned supreme over most of the world's resources. That is, until the Elves came.
Humans live shortly compared to the other races. They live to be around 80-90 years old. They are kind of muscular, varying on the person. They are medium sized, and kind of Agile. They are smart and can figure out almost any problem when given the time to think. Humans are friends with Elves and Dwarves, and Sometimes Trolls. They hate Orcs and Sometimes Trolls. Humans are thought down upon by most of the other races because of their short lives. They are very religous and sometimes have wars with eachother because of this. Humans are not easily corrupted, due to their strongwill and intelligence. They can not wield Magic unless they have been corrupted by the Darkness.

ELVES
Elves came after the Human, they evolved from a specie called Ravors, who were Agile, Nimble, long living creatures. They were forced to live in trees be cause of the predators living on forest floors. After years of Evolution, they came to be Elves. These Elves are friendly with Humans, because they resemble so close to them. The Elves and Humans stick with eachother most of the time, unless they are corrupted by the darkness spreading in the land.Elves live to be 900-1000 years old. Are Tall, and VERY Agile and Nimble. They are skilled swordsman and Rangers, and can shoot anything if given a bow. They always keep to their word and never go back on it. Elves are easily corrupted, as their mind hasn't advanced as much as their bodies. They are friends with Humans, are neutral and sometimes Hateful to dwarves, and they hate Trolls and Orcs.

DWARVES
Dwarves have always been on Loreon, they just were never known until now, due to them always being deep underground, mining. They are the best among the races at mining and brute fighting, due to them being the strongest, next to the orcs. Dwarves aren't very Agile, while nimble. They use Axes as their preferred weapons. They are short and Stouty. They are also the best at Blacksmithing and can create the best tools and weapons in the land. They are friendly with Humans and Trolls, are neutral towards Elves, and hate Orcs. They live to be 500-700 years old.

Trolls
Trolls were once Orcs, but split off into the wild instead of living in hot, magma filled areas. They evolved to become tall and agile and nimble and very witty. They hate Elves because they think the Elves think they are a superior race to them. They are friends with Humans, Dwarves, and Orcs. Their preferred weapon is the Spear and Axe, but are better with a Spear. They are tall and live to be 800-1000 years old.

Orcs
They have also been on Loreon since the beginning of its creation. They have been at everlasting war with the Dwarves trying to control Loreon. They are very strong and good at mining and blacksmithing, and are good at fighting fist combats. Their only friends are Trolls, and hate the rest of the races. They are very intelligent, just don't choose to show it around other races. Their preferred weapon is the Axe, and are medium sized. They live to be 500-700 years old.

If that is the case I'm registering my interest, but I'll take a little while longer to go through and actually make a character and fill out the sheet.

Also have you considered adding Drow or Dark Elves? I just ask because it's my favourite race

I just gotta set up the spawn town, and then everything else is done by you guys. Ill be setting up quests and stuff though too. That is a good idea for a thief race, Ill think of implementing it later.

1. Have you even been on a Hardcore Roleplay Server before: Nope, but I've played table-top RP's that could be easily counted as "hardcore".
2. What can you provide the server with: Good English, a level head, a good imagination and decent RP (I think I'm decent at it, anyway )

4. In Game and Roleplay name: Karenthian (surname Turhathol; blademaster)
5. Character's Backstory: Born to the Elves, Karenthian lead a life of modest indulgence. Not needing to work overtly hard to survive, his particular Elven village spent much time perfecting their skills in craft and physicality. Karenthian himself devoted the first two hundred years of his life training in the sword with three companions. They each tested each other to be the best swordsmen they could be, and quickly proved their mastery over all challengers that came to face them.
There was a drawback to the relaxed lifestyle of the village, one that became apparent when a Troll war-band attacked. Only a few members of Karenthian's village survived; those who had spent their lives perfecting combats skills, the rest were salughtered in little time.
Seeing that there was no way of saving their village, the Elves left and hid in a nearby cave. They sought the assistance of a Dwarven colony nearby, to help rebuild what they could of their society. The Dwarfs gave them tools and manpower to build a new village in a forest, one not built in the treetops but built on the ground, and protected by thick walls and gates. Thankful for their help, the Elves decreed that the village would stand as a safe-haven for all Elves and Dwarfs who needed it. Humans later discovered this village, and have been readily accepted, but the bond between the local Dwarfs and Elves is unique amongst the lands.
Karenthian himself quickly took up the position of head to the village's guard, training all who needed it in the art of the sword. He maintains his position, though he has seen several generations of humans come and go through his care. His experiences have hardened him, and shown him how quickly life can be snatched away. Since the destruction of his village he has thrown himself entirely into helping keep his new village strong, and not hesitation to deal with problems.
6. Extra Information (will be helpful for other player reviewing this):
As an OOC (see, in use!) summary; Karenthian is a hard Elf to impress, having seen many people before. He throws himself utterly into any task, and doesn't stop at it until it is finished. He will help anyone improve themselves with very little coercion, but reacts very harshly to apathy and stagnation.

After walking for days Karenthian finally blundered wearily into a small village. It had been well hidden through the dense foliage, but as night had descended pinpricks of torchlight lured him to its relative safety.
He broke through the last line of leaves into a slight clearing between houses, and froze as the familiar *swish* of steel told him swords were being drawn and levelled at him.
He raised his hands and quickly spoke in the Common tongue; "I am a friend, I come in peace! I am unarmed!". Nobody moved. He peered around, but the bright light of the communal fires blinded him for a moment. As his vision cleared he began making out figures; tall ones, and then eventually specific details. It didn't take him long to realize he'd stumbled into a camp of human slavers. Whilst they usually wouldn't dare attack an Elf, in his current state they wouldn't think twice. This was going to be somewhat of a problem. He let out a sigh and collapsed to his knees, waiting for the manacles to be clapped around his throat and wrists.

Meh, he turned into a Swords Master instead. It happens.
