My Minecraft won't load!

I opened up Minecraft and logged on, but the screen went black and finally a message came up saying:
"Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working
Windows can check online for a solution to the problem."
I still can't get on - any suggestions?

i think that means either your minecraft has died because of your mods and you need to update, or there is something wrong with your pc.
