(Sorry for the comments deleted before, I'm noob at forums - been a long time since I touched phpBB, heheh)

For those of you who are seeing bottom faces upsidedown: THIS IS NORMAL! Minecraft 1.9pre changed the model format, and flipped all bottom faces on the Y axis. As a result, the old previewer (and all skin editors, minus MCSkin3D 1.4) were inaccurate. The previewer now shows exactly as it will appear in-game!

Cyprezz had asked me to throw up a forum post about this for feedback purposes, so I figure now's the best time to make this public. This thread will also double as the final announcement when it's finally live on the site, and acts as a place for people to provide their input.

I've been a busy bee at work on the new 3D previewer for PMC. The new new & improved previewer uses WebGL, and will fall back to the older one if WebGL is not supported by your card.

At the bottom of the viewer, a toolbar is visible which contains a lot of options for animating and posing the skin. You can also change backwards on the right side, as well as turn off the background and go back to a solid color.

Please, leave some feedback, let us know if there are any features you'd like to see!

FireFox disabled Java because of a security exploit.

Also, I found out why I broke it. Hold up!

EDIT: Got it, we're global again!

He actually said he got it working on his local version of PMC and that it's lookin' great. Don't worry, it's been secretly in the mod forum for weeks. :)

Meh.. Disappointed in myself. Should have assumed the mods keep all the best stuff sealed away in dat section!~ Oh well. Y u no high-five back, Paril? :c

In all seriousness, does the new previewer show the skins correctly? I would assume so, but you can never be too sure...
