Planet Minecraft

This post is about the aether mod for minecraft 1.2.5, and how to install it. Don't tell me "There isn't an aether mod for minecraft 1.2.5 yet" because I had my aether mod working, I had the start up menu with the clouds, I had the character menu with all the accessories, but that's all I got around to testing with it. I had a nice single player survival map. I got myself a hole with a door and such. Then I wanted to skip to the aether and test out some features. I quit to the main menu, started a new map on creative and waited. It generated the map, and just as I spawned (I didn't get to see the world it just went to the next piece of text) It said "saving world", and minecraft crashed! (Closed its self). So I booted minecraft back up, and it gave me a minecraft error, something about Java. And every time I try to install the aether mod, it doesn't work. Can someone help me get this working again, because I really like the look of it.
Sometimes I swear minecraft is just teasing me >:/

I just tried "MCPatcher" and all it seems to do is revert back to vanilla, forgetting about all the mods. I am not sure what else to try, I've looked everywhere. So far the mods which screw me are "MinecraftForge" and "ShockAhPI". I have tried to install mods, which unfortunately need "MinecraftForge" to run. Can someone help me? I've tried for about 3-4 days now. It's really starting to annoy me.

Ok, It has been a while. Is there anyone, anywhere (Including the owner of the mod) who knows anything about the chamber of sec--about the aether mod, and trying to fix it. Thank you.

Don't used MCPatcher, it just messes with so many mods. Use optifine, sorry but just try reinstalling all mods on a clean jar without MCPatcher.

Where exactly did you find it for MC 1.2.5?

Aether is not updated for anything after 1.0.0 release, but the Aether II is in development. It will be a while, but the sequel to the famous Aether mod will come out soon.

Post the error/crash log, as you're just describing a generic crash. I'm certain it's the modification that's causing it though, as it's not updated for 1.2.5/you installed it wrong, despite what you said.

I REALLY want Aether two but as Kryptic (and others) said, there is no 1.2.5 Aether . But, Aether II is in the making. I CANNOT WAIT cos i read a post about Aether II and there'll be new mobs, new features, new items, more dungeons, and alot of other stuff!

Haha this is a CLEAR indication that it doesn't work.

Your Installing a 1.0.0 Aether Mod on to a 1.2.5 Jar Minecraft, the only way you will get it working is if you downgrade.

I remember the Aether, I had tons of fun with that mod. Cant want till Aether II.
