gees i have SO many ideas!

now this may be going a bit too far but...well lets just say i got an idea. Here it is;
as far as 1-up mushrooms go i have an idea. so I'm thinking make it redstone, and u pick it up near a small hole where you place it to complete a circuit. that circuit makes a piston push a block over the game over area (maybe a big room that says game over). so we have 5 of theses layers (three on by default). each consecutive circuit u fix will trigger the next one down. when u step off the block u hit a pressure plate that does two functions, one it pulls back the layer you were just on, and two it closes the whole thing off so you can walk back in (like the haunted mansion doors that lock you in). so now after u step on that pressure plate u have two lives left (the two other layers which are the same thing) after you walk off the pressure plate, also u jump down a hole some water slows you down, and you hit the ground light enough not to take damage. and if you use all of your lives, you see the game over room. holy shit I'm actually smart!
