Ok, So a LOT of people have been asking about being able to change their minecraft username, Instead of having to spend about another $30 on a new account just for a new name!

Do you think they will ever add this into the options?
(maybe for a small fee or even free?)

Do you think its a good idea? and why?

I personally have been wanting to change my username but cant bring myself to pay $30 for a name : /

But if they do add this I think it should cost a small amount so people don't abuse it!
Maybe like 3 or 4 dollars would be reasonable.

Also they should make it where when you press tab, and the names come up, you could click on a username and see past usernames for that person.

Yea that's a really good idea.
Its funny because I can almost bet half the people that own a minecraft account chose a name that they don't really want anymore lol

I just finished reading... I'm pretty PUMPED! I hate my current username "LethalSkiillZz" I want to change it to "IbeDillon"

I think its a poor decision to be able to change your name. After all there is a huge list some where on the internet of all the Troll/Griefing Turds that like to jump servers and just, well Troll.... If they are alowed to change their name they should at least make it link to their previous name to where if they join it will recognize them.


But I payed for my name, and I fancy my decision on what I picked, if you didnt that sucks!

Well yea but if a admin wanted to ban them they could just ban their IP instead of their username, so even if they pay to change it to try and join the server... they would still be banned...I don't really think it would be that hard to get use too.

Yeah, i wouldn't mind that feature if i ever wanted to change it.
