PermalinkThats right, minecrafters. May 14th, 2009 was when minecraft (was the "cave game")
got started.
It was like this:
You have noticed 3 years ago (if you remember or seen it) that minecraft was just one giant chunk filled with cobblestone and grass. Now look over the years,what do you see in every update? Infdev had a world 5x bigger than earth in development. Imagine how big that would be!
In alpha 1.2.0 the first dimension besides the normal world,the nether.
Filled with ghasts,netherrack,pigmen,also lava!
After alpha was finished,they moved to beta. 1.3 had beds,repeaters,half
blocks,etc.
Minecraft 1.4 had wolves.AWESOME!
After BETA was finished,they released the full version. If you were at minecon 2011,and saw notch pull the lever,your lucky. Its once in a lifetime! When I was young i went to Las Vegas. (I realized that was too early lol)
And here is now,Ocelots,Jungles,etc!
Minecraft had a good run over these 3 special years.
I hope we continue to see more from you mojang and fans of minecraft!
