Day looked up at the sky, feeling an odd power surge. It stopped after a while, but he wondered what caused it.

((I visited Iowa once 'cause my mum is a muralist, and Cedar Rapids wanted a mural in the community center so I had to stay there for about a month. The smell of ethanol woke me up every morning >.>, but it's still a nice city.))
Michelle didn't hear Quill leave. She was asleep by then.

Claude saw Elizabeth faint. The House o' Blues lights flickered around him, and Claude, along with Angus, rushed to help Elizabeth. Claude picked her up and carried her to his car. Angus drove off to the gang's safe-house while Claude drove him and Elizabeth to his apartment.

Ashley sat in the living room of Jake's House still waiting for him to get home.

Elizabeth's powers where running wild. Every light post they drove past busted, and was no longer operational.The sky was flooded with clouds. You could no longer see the Moon's light.Then lightning bolts came crashing down right towards the truck.

Claude was confused. He didn't know anything about powers. But he kept driving as fast as he could towards his apartment.

Quill grabbed his bag and took off.
He remembered the way he had come to get back to his hometown so it would be easy to get back to Michelle.
He flew toward the hospital and, soon, he was at Michelle's room.
He opened the door and walked in.

Michelle was awake, but kept her eyes closed.
"Quill, you should come up with some ideas. Look where my ideas got me" she said in a more active and healthy voice.

Quill knew it was time to leave, the police would be at the hospital any second ready to arrest the two of them.
He opened the window and took off the jacket he had used to conceal his wings.
