PermalinkStory:Gather round one and all to hear how this school came into life, it began many years ago when human and monster knew of each other the races tried their best to avoid the other but the humans were slowly encroaching. After a few years humans and monsters were at an impasse, they tried to be friends and did succed but some monsters started using the humans as food, and to gain power when the humans learn't of this they demanded that the monsters were killed while the mosters thought that the humans should leave, neither were willing so war broke out, causing many deaths but the monsters suffered heavily while they had powers that made them stronger, the humans had power through their technology, the monster race was nearly wiped out. the remaining monsters retreated into hiding and eventually were forgotten, over time they changed and took on human appearances, but they could still change to their true forms and some types of monsters still held onto some of their supernatural charateristics, some for pride and other so that they weren't forgotten. After a few decades a group of monsters found an island completely devoid of human contact, they began to move here and set up their own citie's, towns and villages, then one monster who's name is lost cast a spell so that only monsters could find the island, any human would get lost in fog only they could see, due to this the monsters had no contact with any but their own kind, and war broke out among familes of monsters, blood feuds and all kinds. Many powerful monsters of the most influential families met together and began to decide what should be done to end these battles. One of them the father of the current headmaster Grayson, decided that a school should be built, to train young monsters in their history and how to control and improve their powers, the decision was unaminous and the school was built, it has stood for over 400 years now, and has seen many different monsters pass through, from liches to dragons and even gods. Now the story continues and what shall happen, well you shall have to come find out for yourself.
