Planet Minecraft

I just started a new map in creative and discovered a nether portal in the side of a mountain. It is already activated too! When I went in the portal, it led to the Nether, but there is what appears to be a chunk error or something. There is a big netherack (not netherbrick) wall with a huge whole in it. Other than that, the overworld and nether seem normal (so far).
Has anyone else seen this? Is this some sort of new update I missed? Is this a sign of Herobrine? (just kidding about the last one! )

The world you made got mixed up whit another world?

IMO i think your lying about the nether portal. Tough the nether thing could be true, minecraft can generate strange stuff ;D

I've seen the same thing. I was on a super-flat creative world and I was trying to find spawn (I when in to the end and spawn is glitched on superflat) and I found a neather portal in a chunck i have NEVER been in. I went in and it spawned me right next to a neather dungen, nothing was out of place.

You know when you go in the nether and come out a random portal? those are naturally generated.

Yeah it happens, It's just a glitch I think. I also started a world, then found a nether portal in a cave.

Uh, no. Spawn is not glitched on SuperFlat, spawn doesnt exist on it. You have to set a spawn using either MCedit or a Bed.
