Planet Minecraft

I am having problems with Minecraft classic. I can't load or create worlds or hear sound. Please help

No suggestions?

If I try to load or create a world, it says "failed to load levels".

Im guessing you are using this in the browser at minecraft.net? Try downloading the newest version of java, also try using a different browser, anything except internet explorer.

I use Mozilla Firefox and I have the newest version of java java version 6 update 27

Unfortunately im running out of ideas
Can only suggest clearing your entire browsing history, but be aware you may lose your savegames and other stuff you might want.

I get this on java 7 console, the classic tries to access to listmaps.jsp but a 404 page shows.

I went on the Minecraft Wiki and looked up "Minecraft Classic". Even the wiki confirms this problem, it said in the bug section "As of writing, levels do not save or load. ".

Saving and Audio is broken, and Mojang said that they don't plan on fixing it any time soon.
