Right so heres the deal,

I am currently running a prison server and i need a website designed, i can do it myself but i thought i would give the people at PMC a chance to do it in return for a prize.

ALL serious applicants will receive payment in the form of a short term donor package on my server.

The winning applicant will receive a months free Donator package equivilant to $10.

Current website: http://minecraftorium.gaming.multiplay.co.uk/

Server Name: Darklite Empire http://www.planetminecraft.com/server/to-be-confirmed/

I can provide the banners for the site but anyone is welcome to create there own (put a place holder there to show where a banner would go if your not creating your own)

Must have Features
  • Home page with space for text explaining about the server
  • a secondard page with space to explain the different ranks and there benefits

Additional Bonus Features
  • an image page where anyone can upload an image
  • an IRC chatroom
  • anything else that you think i would like feel free to include

you can show me your work in anyway you like via links or otherwise, as long as i am able to view it im happy

Hi!

I know C, C++, HTML, HTML+ and a bit of Java, so I would be perfect for the job. However, a website designer usually gets paid...more than $5. I'll be willing to do it for more, but I have a few questions/comments:

1. You said I need to provide zip files with the pages in them? WTH does that mean? Everything varies based on the host you use.
2. You also said I could layout it on a free/temp. site. If you could find that site for me that FREELY allows me to program the webpage instead of adding templates and crap, I'll do it. Otherwise you may need to set up a "free trial" of some sort.
3. Lastly, I need to know the layout your website is going to be in. How would you like it designed and organized, etc?

PM me on your replies and I'll consider it further, until then:

please explain what this means, if you are stating that it is a low figure then im afraid it is all that we as a server can manage.

We are not looking for the highest quality website, i assure you if we were i would pay more, as a small server all we require is a site that is in proportion to our size.

Problem is that looking for even basic web development can range from $50 per PAGE to $100. I know it sounds a bit much, but there it is. I've seen websites that have cost $1000 a page, so you you have to understand that $10 for the site is somewhat of an underestimation.
Sorry,

no i do understand. i wasn't hoping to pay a pittance for a top range website. but i thought if i can offer what i have then someone might like to have a go. they might be a complete amature ... the important thing about pmc is getting involved. that's all i hoped to do with this

Honesly, as a highschool student with a bit of exp in HTML and CSS, I would do it for 10$-20$. But not for a rank on your server, which tbh I have no intrest in playing.
