I'm going to start doing videos, and i want a filming program to record what i do. I wand a very basic program, basically just copies what i see on my screen, no sort of special effects. The reason being is i have a slow comp and dont need anything too big.

Any ideas?

Camtasia also autouploads to a few sites! I can give more info but I just wanted to post this fast.

I just use Quicktime and select Screen Record. Then I select the window and record. I did that for a server trailer I made

I use Bandicam.It records audio and video but only audio it actually records is the game's.

I used to use Fraps Free Version but Bandicam can record more and is less laggy.*Though still laggy.....*

Bandicam is free.If you don't want a water-mark at the top of the screen though you have to pay for it.

I don't know one that has no lag.

Lag is based on your graphics and etc. If you had Fraps and it didnt record beast, your graphics card sucked. No offense

Strange how I get no lag with other games then and minecraft is way faster without recording.....*Got lag on other games if recording with fraps no lag without fraps.Minecraft kinda laggy but almost none when not recording.*

Okay, i went with bandicam, its free and holds more- and yes. my graphics card sucks. I have a 2007-ish computer. Windows Xp... so yeah. Also, I dont have a mic, silly me.
I'll just have to go with text. Thanks guys!
