I need to know how to speed up my pc, short of buying another one. I have already maxed out its memory, turned smooth lighting and partical effects off, set it to fast graphics, what else can I do?

What you need to do is use winrar (or any other program capable of extracting this from a .RAR file) to extract the contents of the .RAR file and then you should get a folder with the world data inside it. Just place this into your "saves" folder.

You could Install the optifine mod for minecraft, which increases speed when playing minecraft The OP of this topic will probably make a tutorial for installing mods, but the instructions are on the download page aswell.

do you know what the best way to find desert temples is?

Without mods the best way is to find a mountian of sand or make a small pillar and go to the top, then look for abnormalities in the sand. OR you could install a mod like x ray mod of some sort of desert temple finder and use that.

Could you tell me how to code for a block that, when placed, will turn into a structure liek in the isntant structures mod?
