Planet Minecraft

Hey guys!
thanks for reading this! im not too new to minecraft. i know alot about
it. However, i would love to have some info or feedback about creating
or working a server. i know that you need good plugins to run a successful
server. im looking for some advice for plugins, mods, maps, anything i can use
or need in a server. If you've got anything that might help, leave a comment!

Im sorry to say but your dreams of running server has just sunk. you could search on google for a hosting website and buy a server. cause running a server alone on a laptop is bad ( you cant keep a laptop on a long time) plus it takes to much cpu you would lag like hell if you play mc and run the server at the same time

oh ok. i see. thank you very much dj_toxicman100, i also do have a desktop too, im sorry forgot to mention. i dont have minecraft on it at the moment because mainly my parents use it. i might be able to use it for minecraft though... so any advice you have for desktops would be helpful. plus, might save this for future reference too.

but incase you want to do it ( it wont work) just go to miencraft.net go to download and download the minecraft server file. make a folder on your desktop name it any thing and drag the mc server file into it. start the file and let it load. once it loads close it and type your computer's ip into internet explorer ( or any internet browser) and then find port fowarding once you do that type your pv.4 ip into mc and wala! oyu got a server but with alot of lag! and if that is too much for you to do then im sorry (i got lazy on some part's sence theres so much to type*

I have set up 5 server's myself in my time of mc and i would be more then happy to help you when ever i can but the stuff i just said is 2 reason 1= not the most easy thing in the world to do 2=skipping some details in some part's since i can't type all day :\

Ok just the only part i didnt do well was the port. search up on google how to port foward minecraft server. there should be a video on how to do it its not that hard too.
