Yes, I'm not stupid I know there like a billion videos on youtube but i want to know is how much space about would a 5-10 person server with a few plugins say 15 take up?

Or would anyone actually host a server for me (if u will be that kind plz make it from a computer or VPS)
Thanx for reading i am getting a new computer and a lot of space but i also have the internet and email to worry about so i need to know the space a server like that would take up

The space isn't that big of a problem, you need to think of how much ram you want on the server, for 5-10 players i would advice annywhere between 1 and 4 gb. also you need to have a good internet connection and if you really want to have a good server it needs to be on 24/7 and so your computer needs to be also

i forgot to say its a laptop not a computer im getting but i only want to host for me me and my friends to do maps and stuff so i would want about 2 gb of ram do you think that would work for only my friends?

A. No need for 2gb ram dedicated to server
B. Host off ur laptop i host like 20 people on my laptop and once 50 people
