Hi, my name is Hayden Furgeson. I am the owner of the once well-known Rapture Gaming Network for Minecraft. We featured a lot of different game modes, linking our server with bungee. I am starting up my server again in the first time in two years and I am in need of some assistance getting things back up and going.

What makes Moderator a position you want to apply for?:
I am choosing to apply for moderator because I feel that this position fits me like a glove. Adding on, I am a fit leader thus I wanted to be a moderator because a good moderator leads by example and teaches the helpers to become even better helpers! I want to make my way up to a higher staff position then just having it handed to me. When I start at a lower position than the administrator rank it makes me want to work even harder for a higher rank. I can be very strict, but not to the point of which people simply do not want to play the server anymore due to my carelessness. I understand when a player is or isn't breaking the rules, and I will punish only those who are deserving. I should be a moderator because I am a very hard-working and persistent person and I am devoted to helping others. I want to be a moderator because I know I can help the community in a big way. I could make the community better by making sure that everyone is having a good time and ensuring that there are no known hackers and spammers disturbing players so the community can be clean and safe. I am a very mature person, and I would not be applying if I could not think I would be able to handle being a moderator. I want to work my way up and conquer big decisions I wouldn't be able to handle as of now.
What makes you different than other potential candidates for your same position?:
Others can say that they are nice and helpful, and while I'm both of these things I am much more. I am mature and strong willed, I take responsibility and I understand what is the right and wrong decision. Although, when it is time to let loose I can be pretty silly!

These are just the basic commands of what I could think of.
/Ban - Needed so I can punish the players that have broken the proper rules.
/Mute - Needed so I can stop players from advertising, spamming, etc.
/Fly - Needed so I am able to see more than just a players' angle. Would only use this command for the proper usage.
/V or /Invisible - Needed so I can catch needed evidence of a player hacking/griefing. Will also use this for suspicions of rule breakers. Would only use in the proper usage.
/Kick - Needed to warn players. This would only be used for their first/second time breaking the rules. Would only use this command with it's proper usage.

For three servers I will be listing, I will be able to give you the contact information but will not be including it in this application due to the privacy of others. For the last two I have already asked if I could tell you their information and they have declined. These servers are in order of which I have worked on them.

*Frost Cube - This server was the very first server that I had ever worked on. I am proud to say that it was indeed a very amazing experience, but sadly not that popular. This server had a player base of 10-20 players per day. I worked on this server from late December-early February. In the time span of these three months I got promoted twice from moderator to head-administrator. It closed down due to lack of money.
CraftiteSMP - I had worked on this server for about a month before quitting due to lack of communication and the owner simply being inactive. Nothing much to say about this server.
KacpersSMP - I worked on this server for a week or so before the owner just decided to leave out of nowhere. I became the owner without warning and managed to get the playerbase up to 30 players for a week until money became an issue and I simply was unable to keep the server up and running.
*GamingFinal MC - This server is still up but very small. I truly did enjoy this server until I started working on it, I became bored shortly after becoming a helper and powered through two weeks before quitting.
*Cybilion Network - I worked on this server for the longest time I had ever worked on a server. I was a co-owner on Cybilion Network from early March-late May but quit due to lack of communication and the immaturity of the staff members. This server was fantastic until the owner decided to stop being a boss and more of a friend.

If someone was threatening to hack our server with a VOSL or Ddos, what would you do as a Moderator with /kick and /ban?:
I would immediately ban the player and alert the owner about this player. If, in any case, proof was needed then that would be no problem due to my computer constantly recording the screen and only turns off/on if I press two certain hotkeys.
How much time can you dedicate to the server PER week?:

What makes a good Moderator?:
A good moderator never abuses his/her powers, there would never be a good or right time to do this. Being not only respectful and considerate towards your fellow staff members matters, but it also counts towards the players of the server. Listening to reasons and arguments for unbanning a player is very important. Everyone deserves a second chance! A good communication flow between staff members is a great way to solve problems or fights.

/tp - coupled with /invisible is a great tool for catching suspicions players

What makes Moderator a position you want to apply for?: I like the moderator position because it is the position that keeps the server from going crazy and it is a position that helpers and players look up to. I want to dedicate my time to making the server go well and make sure everyone is enjoying their time.
What makes you different than other potential candidates for your same position? I would be willing to put in the extra work to be the best at my position and do my best to make the server reach its full potential. I understand who is above me and who I should follow and I would always be nice and respectful towards those players. I will also be a very nice and helpful person to new players and players that have been on the server. I am also a very smart person and know what to do in a different situations.
What kinds of permissions and abilities do you expect for your job? I expect to have some perms as in /ban and /kick but also some perms that include /tp /gamemode /nick and other smaller perms.
History of Past Employment for Servers (Please give contact info if possible): I have been mod on few average size servers and admin on a couple smaller ones. These are older servers that I used to play on so I might have trouble getting their contact info but I will do my best.

What makes a good Moderator? A good moderator is one that keeps the chat clean, keeps the players happy but not to the point where they are disturbing others, they are friendly to not only players but staff members as well. They should be fun and active in the community but know the limits and when to be mature. They should know what to do when there are modifications being used or someone is hacking and they should know what to do in a crisis.

I would be willing to put in the extra work to be the best at my position and do my best to make the server reach its full potential. I understand who is above me and who I should follow and I would always be nice and respectful towards those players. I will also be a very nice and helpful person to new players and players that have been on the server. I am also a very smart person and know what to do in a different situations.

Ddos requires an IP address to launch the attack, and not to mention it's illegal and highly uncommon to find someone able to Ddos you. Despite this, any threat should be taken seriously. The first step would be to screenshot any evidence of the threat and contact the owner with it immediately. The next step would be to ban the player making the threat.

I recently graduated high school, so I have a lot of time on my hands. I am online at least every other day if not every day, so I can dedicate a lot of time to the server if need be.

I am very much a people person. I have Moderated 3 servers. I have been playing MC for 2 1/2 years and staffing for 2 year.
What are some benefits for Rapture Gaming of hiring you for this position?
First i would make sure that staff member's are treating everyone fair and equally even if there 12 a person is a person hear everyone's point of view and especially if its staff dont judge someone because of age and second i would bring a new perspective to the server as well as more people. I would also help all and any staff when needed building, player problems, etc.
What intrigues you about joining our server for this position? The fact that it is friendly before i even am accepted and that you guys are open to even a 12 year old to apply most servers make the limit 15 so i am surprised

What makes a good staff member?:

3. Hard worker: There is no substitute to hard work. Although everyone seems to say that they work hard not many keep on working after being at the job for a while. So, one has to keep reminding oneself about the importance and significance of working hard as an employee.

I would like to record on this server because I think it will be a good start out. Every other server I have or have wanted to record on is owned by some big time youtuber. I'm talking they have 100's of 1000's of subscribers. This is a non-biased server where I can start out fresh and hopefully build a community here! I want to try and fill your servers! I believe if I can start on a non-biased youtuber server, then I would be able to grow much faster, and bring in much more people, say I were to record on some larger youtuber's network most audience would say "I would join but its always full! This server has to many fanboys! or even I don't like this large youtuber."

I have only recently gotten to where I know how to block the words using my editor. I would also expect donator commands, not quite your "Highest" donator rank commands and perks but a mid-level one. Such as getting double currency (If you end up having such things in the server) for winning games. Then again you are the owner. It is all up to you on what you allow me.

In my opinion, I think it would be best to take screenshots and record what is going on. But before you do that, maybe confront this person and tell them what they are doing is wrong and they should stop. If they say no, then I'd probably say go straight to the owner with the screenshots.

Must be hard-working and dedicated to the server/owner. And to not stoup down to anyone elses level by leading with example.

I am usually a leader(i like to do things on my own) so i'd be able to sort out all the members into their appropriate locations based off of their applications.
