Hey guys just wondering if you guys know any good minecraft recording softwares that are free. If you do can you link me to them and/or explain how they work a bit? Thanks!

A good one is minema which records without videos that don't have any lag in them.

Some come with demos, but all the "good" software is "premium" or paid for. Most pros use Fraps, DxTory, or XSplit. I have tried all of their demos, and prefer Fraps, probably because it is the simplest. XSplit is more of a streaming suite. I can't really recommend any free programs though.
