Recoring Software! HELP!!!!

.I am currently using bandicam to record my minecraft playing and my videos will vary from 5 mins to 3 hours! Soon I am getting a laptop and a microphone, but 80% of the internet says Fraps is better. Everybody is saying fraps takes up a LOT of space, so can anybody tell me if it's possible to compress it? If it is, PLEASE TELL ME HOW!

Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro is a lot better than windows movie maker

smaller recorded raw video = worse quality.
fraps records and makes it a huge video because it records at highest quality, using a good editing software will cut down the file size huge!

use handbrake to compress it and windows movie maker to convert it to an mp4 which should make it smaller and faster to upload

That many compressions will destroy the video.

Windows Movie Maker would take to too long to create the video, Freemake Video Converter would do the job much faster.

Hmm. Then what should I use? If you are going to tell people not to use something, then you should at least tell people what they should use.

Fraps is really nice if you can afford it. Fraps itself doesn't take up much space, but it makes .avi files (which are HUGE!). Long story short, this means less lag while recording!
If you want to compress video, just import it into Movie Maker and then immediately export it as a .wmv! Delete the original video, and you will be good to go!

You can do a lot with movie maker. I'm getting adobe after effects soon but I have been using movie maker for a long time.

OBS, its great. and you can overlay things live. and stream with it.

So... you want our help only in compressing fraps, and not getting you a recording software that will take less space, and possibly be more suited for you?
