Backstory: Leah was taken to Yokai at the beginning of the year, because she was finally old enough to be a freshman there. Her parents thought they were hallucinating when she first turned into a Phoenix when she was fourteen. But then, she constantly kept turning into one. They tried to find out what was wrong with her, but every doctor's visit, psychiatrist visit, the doctor always kicked them out of the door, not wanting to get involved, not wanting to help. Saying it was too serious a problem for them. Every person gave referral to a different, more special doctor. Finally, one tried to help and sent them to Yokai, which he had described as a "Special School for The Gifted." Leah thought that sounded either like a whole lot of Special Ed. kids, Or talented ones. Her parents insisted she went though, maybe because they didn't want to have to deal with her abormalcy. So now she was stuck at this school.
Powers: (um, again, Phoenix form, or human form? ^.^) When she's in Phoenix form she is able to rise up and create a blinding light. She is also good with fire, since Phoenixes are like, made of fire, so she... is fire-resistant. Even in her human form, she has a little bit of fire resistance in her.
Anything else?: And um,so are they like humans, but they morph into their monster form?
