I'm really interested to see what Scrolls is all about. I mean, Mojang didn't come up with Minecraft by accident, it was the product of the hard work of a team of geniuses. If THEY're excited about Scrolls, it HAS to be good!

hmm i cant really see where they can add any new elements to the game...

card games: origins from Magic the Gathering, ressource + abilities (MTG), what they say about being "unlucky not getting ressources" is also from MTG.

positioning, not healing and such is warhammer (i think, not sure about the healing part)

as far as i see it then this is just a mix....+ i dont like the whole "i pay money for cards, i get better cards than you" concept

they say that minecraft was only created as a moneybooster so they could make what they really wanted to, being Scrolls one of them:)

actually the original creator of Minecraft (think it's Notch, not sure) didnt "come up" with minecraft.... he took some ideas from different games, combined and then added to it and ended with minecraft
