Background Story: Veneficus was raised by an old Black Smith when he was young and when he misbehaved he was beaten and kicked out of the house until the next morning and when he behaved well he could eat that night and sleep in a real bed. He always knew that in life he would never get anywhere if this kept up he would either be dead or just miserably working for the old man his whole life. Though sadly he never really did anything about it until one day, when he was 8, an old man that looked in his early 50's. The man walked strait up and looked at Veneficus. "How much do you want for the boy." The old blacksmith smiled that day and asked for 400 gold and though it looked as if Veneficus was now going to be a slave for his whole life its what started his training as a magi.
Veneficus was brought to "Schola lorem pythones" (it's Latin) the training there was the most excruciating time in his life. Until then though he never knew he had the rare ability to use magic. Though everyone can know how to use magic it is rare for a person to have the ability to use it with minimum training. Apparently twenty years of training was minimum, but that only allowed him to use what most called level 14 spells. With that knowledge he was only a Sorcerer, but a Master Magi is able to at least use level 30 spells.
Veneficus new that he had to get more world experience so after he left the school at age 29 and decided to join a group of these. They thought him much about thievery and sneak, so in return he helped them get gold both legally and illegally. Soon after four years though he grew bored of his life so he wanted to move on. Latter he found out that the organization he was in fell apart a few months after he left, because they got into some trouble that resulted in 13 dead and 48 in jail.
By that time Veneficus was already helping another kingdom by joining his army of warriors as a healer/conjurer. He had seen much action though once he joined and even more importantly he learned. He was taught in the way of healing and combat magic, but during that time he also gained a friend Alphonso Trey. Sadly though one day when he, his friend Alphonso, and twelve other warriors were going to raid this small group of rouge elves, but it all went wrong when they allied themselves with a few Dwarven Mercenaries. They were basically slaughtered including his friend Alphonso. That was the last day he was in the military at that time he was 65.
He then decided to go out and join a band of mercenaries after a few years of mourning the loss of his friend Alphonso. Those 28 years were boring to him though and Veneficus learned nothing of significance other then a few life lessons and how the world works.
Most of his life he has spent traveling and learning to improve his skills as a wizard, but after age 150 he decided to rest, but has spent his time guiding travelers and heroes towards there destiny whether it be a happy ending or a tragic fate. This has earned him the nick name known by most as the "Wise Wizard" and can only be found in seclusion.
Appearance: Brown haired 5'8 man. Doesn't wear robes, but instead usually wears average wear. Has a clean brown beard about 2 feet long running down his chin and surrounding his mouth in goatee fashion. Prefers to not wear shoes or gloves. No eye pupils, because over the years he has become blind and uses magic to see for him.
How would you RP?: Like the classic wizard aged, powerful, and experienced.
Anything Else: He currently is a level 38 wizard and has touched in all types of magic including more forbidden arts, but is specialized in Conjuration, Healing, and combat magic.
