The new Comcast modems are actually routers combined with modems. Find your home router's IP, and forward the port to that in the Comcast router's control panel.

If OP has already done this and the port is still showing as closed, I can confirm that I have the same problem. For some reason, the newer boxes they've issued seem to have port-forwarding problems. I forget what model mine is, but the issue seems pretty commonplace and Comcast doesn't really care. I mentioned this with one of their techs and they told me to "contact the game developer and make sure that the default port they're using is compatible with Comcast". I lol'd. Also tried a ton of different ports and none work. Am convinced it's Comcast/this model of router they've issued.

Hope you find a fix, OP. I've given up and have been saving for a 3rd party router.
