Servers won't connect?

My internet is working fine, but I can't connect to a server. I checked Mojang, and it says Minecraft servers are running fine. Help?

Ayeeee I had this exact problem once.
Backup anything you want then delete your whole .minecraft folder
If that doesn't work it sound like an issue with your network settings and files

One of the reasons I quit playing Minecraft is because of the error that seems to be unfix able that you have.

You might have to be a bit more specific. Did you get any kind of an error message when you tried to join the server? If so, could you post it here?

Check your firewall? Servers online? Did you try to join the server?
