Welcome to "A Sharp Miner" Minecraft server.
A Sharp Miner (A#m) is a Semi-Vanilla Minecraft server for adults who are 21+18+, want to be part of a friendly server community and have casual fun without drama.
This is a completely new server and will accept limited number of selected players. This is a great opportunity for players to make it what they want it to be.
About the Server
Server has 6GB RAM, runs Bukkit and is set to Hard with whitelist enabled.
There are few carefully selected non-intrusive plugins that either make your life easier or make it more interesting without breaking the spirit of classical Minecraft
Server's Overworld is a circle 5000 blocks in diameter with wrapping borders and a random teleport at spawn. Borders will be expanded if needed.
Nether is tighter with 1000 blocks in diameter, but can be expanded as well.
TNT and creeper explosions are enabled and destroy blocks. Protect your place by setting up a Residence.
Most of A#m related communication happens at www.asharpminer.com.
PvP vs PvE
Overworld and The End are PvE. Nether is PvP, enter at your own risk
Economy
Economy runs with gold nuggets as currency. Price balance is set and maintained by Pawnshop at Spawn. Prices are set according to item rarity relatively to gold ingot.
Monster tweaks
Iron Golems drop bottles of enchanting instead of iron
Zombie Pigmen drop golden apples instead of golden nuggets
Endermen only drop enderpearls in Overworld
Ender Dragon is stronger and respawns. Dragon eggs may be used to boost enchantment to level X

Gringotts - item based economy
Lockette - lock chests with a sign
Residence - areas you can protect and teleport to
Essentials - tools for chat and spawn
Chest Shop Easy way to create player shops with chests
Rules
Use common sense and be nice. I really hope I will not have to go into any more details. Don't cheat, don't abuse others, don't steal, don't destroy any blocks other people placed even if not protected, don't freak out, don't build close to others (check dynmap). Be positive. Remember, this server if for adults and I expect "Use common sense and be nice" is more then self-explanatory.
