I think some of the stuff in battle gear mod would be cool, like duel wielding and shields
I think it would make pvp alot more fun, and also I dont like the idea of muskets sorta takes the fun out of pvp and the whole basic sandbox thing which mojang has somewhat ruined already.

The Nether is finished the End only has 2 mobs in it the Ender Dragon and Enderman thats it and obisdion and end stone the nether has ghasts Zombe pigmen Blazes and Magma cube the End has crap in it i want more end content with Ender King

2. I still get no loading bar when creating a new world.

Yes, they would have if it didn't take so long. People were complaining about the time it took for them to come out with 1.3 so they are doing it in 1.4 along with optimization.
I personally was happy with waiting as I don't care much about what they added but people complain to much.

Dual Wielding/Shields (Way I see it next to armor they put one extra space, which can be used to add another weapon or a shield

1.3 is pretty awesome though, minus weird server lag.

Your asking too much it is hard to make all of that in minecraft BUT it could be a good mod.
