Is it possible to have HD textures with Techne? I have seen a couple models with HD textures, and I was wondering how the did that. I wanted to have this model- http://i.imgur.com/bYF3wcZ.png HD, as it will be massive and I wanted a higher res for it.

I'm pretty sure that if you apply the high rez texture to the modded entity, it will look correct in-game.

Oh yeah! I guess i'd work. Shame you can only see it in-game tho. Is there a way to change it and view in Techne?

Not that I know of. You can plug the techne model into mcskin3d, and view the high rez texture in there, but you may need to remake the texture.

Just make the image a higher resolution and techne will automatically ask you if you want to change the resolution.

This, if you use a 1024x1024 texture map and tell Techne you are using 512x512, the Techne will put the 1024x1024 texture into a 512x512 space.

Yes, i have done that, the problem is, more often than not, my textures are somewhat random. I always stack them on the corners and have usually a couple of blank pixels separating each (depends on the size of the texture). When I do try to re-size, the textures end up messed up and in the wrong places.
