PermalinkHi I have created a server that is ready for players. It is a medieval themed semi-pvp server with two (or more) factions. As of now, we have two faction bases set up for pvp events. The areas in the immediate vicinities of the bases are off limits for building, but the rest of the world is free game. Only a few rules exist to ensure the server maintains a higher quality appearance;
1. Realism. I wish to keep realism to the highest possible level; i prefer well thought and planned building and do not allow "floating" structures.
2. Professionalism. Build in an asthetically pleasing manner. Keep your impact on the world to a minimum unless it is for a specific (and worthwhile) reason.
3. Respect. There is no anti-griefing software implemented as the server is vanilla. With this said, I keep a very close eye on what happens in the server. This applies to both griefing and pvp.
4. Pvp. Pvp will be done only under specified conditions and with prior knowledge of all participating. There will be no retaliations after the original pvp session has concluded, unless another agreement is made. Violations of rules 3 and 4 may result in a warning or ban depending on the situation.
5. Moderators. Server mods are the high authority; they are not to be questioned on any decisions whatsoever. Their motives are in the best interests of the server, and the players within it. As long as things are kept professional, there shouldn't be any problems.
