Hi,
since last update of Windows 10 I get an error message when opening Minecraft:
essential part of the Minecraft crash report:
OpenGL: ~~ERROR~~ RuntimeException: No OpenGL context found in the current thread.
I am running Java 1.8.0_101; I already tried several other versions, no change...
My dxdiag can be found at ubuntu:

Please advise how to solve the issue.
Thanks

the issue is to do with your graphics drivers not being up to date/compatible with windows 10, there is no workaround, if you are 100% certain that your graphics drivers are up to date your only options now are either: downgrade to windows 8/7 or Obtain a new graphics card, there is nothing else you can do

has anybody another idea as neither driver for Windows 7 / 8.1 or anything else works ?
Any workaround ?

Hi,
of course I did download drivers - no change in the outcome...
I do not have a second graphics card.

Please post the full error log in a spoiler, the OpenGL part is often caused by another error. If you have a second graphics card, try to force your Java to use it. I can't think of anything else without the full log.

Hi,
I tried everything in different variants:
-Reboot your machine: of course - no change
-Run it in compatibility mode for Windows 7/8: no change - same error
-Attempt to increase Minecraft's allocated RAM to 2GB - cannot allocate as I cannot enter Minecraft mask (?) - I also believe that this is not the problem...
-As with what others said, try updating the graphics drivers: done - as described no later version available
-Do games other than Minecraft run properly?: Yes, they do
Any other idea what I can do ?

For HD 3000, you will need to install the Windows 7/8.1 driver for it to work. There is no official Windows 10 driver support for anything before the 3rd generation of Core processors.

Have you done this yet OP?

This is the only solution that has a chance at working, TBH.

Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
download the drivers for that
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downlo ... -N-Series-
and click the "Intel® Driver Update Utility" link and it should help u out some

Try checking for updates on your graphics driver, that's all I can think of right now.
