Strange Generated Sculptures
These are just some strange things I created with some commands in vanilla. Some are really big. They might appear as single blocks but they are made up of 3x3 cubes. You can view the image for a bigger resolution. I had to go into extreme render distance to view them better. Generating them was extremely frame dropping. The first three had my game freeze completely for longer than 10 seconds. The last one did just fine though. I feel like I'll make a blog with a video where I'll have a bigger collection of them.
This second one I ever made was this one here. Curves quite a lot and I like how the trail goes into the ground and bounces back out. In the first image you can see that it ends quite abruptly, it was just because it went out of range to generate any more. It can go on forever. Other than this one all the generations went up to block limit. There's me next to a cube for scale.
This third one looks quite like a meteor impact with debris flying everywhere. I could have had it generate stone or dirt to make it appear more so. I was really shocked with how this one turned out. But then this next one happened.
This one had to be my favorite. This generation took a little more to make. It just looks like some lighting. When there isn't as much separate trails it's fun to watch it generate. It also dug through the ground until y 0.
This was the first I made. It's pretty much just random pillars that are very tall. They spawned all over the place in a ginormous range. Sounds like a pretty strange and cool land to run into.
That was all I have of these. I'll definitely be creating some more. It was really fun and interesting watching my computer suffer.

If anyone's wondering how items can make stuff like this, I'm pretty sure that this is how it works (spoiler in case you wanna try it yourself to see how it happens):
Click to reveal
Since the blocks are created in the same place as the items, the items get pushed out of the blocks -- which is what (I'm guessing) causes that crazy movement you can see in the pictures.

It's really weird and interesting how it does this. Nice share!

I've used it with arrows before, though. Fun thing to do.

I never thought a command like that could result... Quite like this.

That was pretty much my first reaction, lol.

What are the commands?
1
/execute @e[type=Item] ~ ~ ~ /fill ~1 ~2 ~1 ~-1 ~ ~-1 [block]
Or if you want to get crazy
/execute @e[type=!Player] ~ ~ ~ /fill ~1 ~2 ~1 ~-1 ~ ~-1 [block]
You enter these in a repeating command block.
