The Technic Launcher devs took out functionality which exists in official launcher from Mojang, that is, offline mode, as in being able to play on your own server without phoning home. Granted, if you kill your internet connection by unplugging
it or disabling your network adapter, it will let you do offline mode with a generic username like "Player1". So I fixed it. No need to disable your internet connection. Enter some junk credentials, say yes to offline mode, then connect to your home server or play ssp with a new character!

If you are gun shy about using some "random jar made by some random guy who wants to steal your creds," below is a link to the source code so you can verify. It is the source code that you can download from the Technic Launcher site but with a few minor tweaks. (specifically to the "LoginForm.java" file located in the "org.spoutcraft.launcher.gui" namespace). If you're still paranoid, just decompile the jar and see for yourself.
