Is it bad that my texturepack is on other websites plz reply
I will not say the name of my texture pack because that would be advertising in the wrong place. My texturepack is being posted on other websites, is that bad?!?!? I don't know if they are giving me credit but i would like to know if that having it on other websites that i didn't post it on is bad? plz answer me! ( i might have to get a copyright on this and call the swat team just kidding!)

This got me curious to do some searching. I found my builds on a surprisingly large number of websites and im not even "famous" in the community. I guess it doesnt hurt anything, but i would prefer to not have my work posted other places, sometimes without credit. I doubt anyone actually sees it though. (one did say it had 19,123 views, which has to be a lie, since thats way more than on pmc) For you though, if your texture pack becomes popular enough that people are searching it on search engines, then that could be a problem. Im not sure what you could do about it though. You could always message or email the people in charge of the sites and ask to have it removed. But, since they are stealing it in the first place they probably dont care. Sorry for rambling, I really hope you get the issue resolved.

should I try to get a copyright for my texturepack?

I may be wrong, but im pretty sure that your work is protected under copyright when it is created. If you create original artistic works i thought you had the copyright regardless of filing forms and stuff. Trying to do anything about this legally would be a very costly and difficult route though.

Find a pantent lawyer in ur family or friend and se if they can do it for u cheap or free and then show the website staff

They did give you "credit". I did a quick search on rustinomitry and this is the link to the site I found: http://mod-minecraft.net/rustinomitry-resource-pack/
They mention you as the developer and call your work "very promising"
Not sure how you feel about that but you can ask the person to take it down in the comments or something.

If they didn't give you credit, you can report them to whoever moderates the site. Personally, I don't condone pirating.

I believe OP is talking about sites where the owner/staff post them.

If they are giving you credit, or linking to where you originally posted it, then it's fine. Otherwise, I think it's pretty bad. Did they give you credit?

Unless your work is popular and people are going to Google it and click on the stolen site instead of your own, them having it on their site as well won't hurt you. I'm sure mods like GalactiCraft and Equivalent Exchange lose a lot of downloads/profit from these sites, but something with 15,000 views and a few thousand downloads that isn't well known won't be affected. Pirating sites like MinecraftDL are making a lot of money by stealing and will continue unless you are willing to go to court, but there are still sites like PixeledMe (http://pixld.me) that credit you and help advertise.

I had/have this issue. Mainly I suggest just consider it a compliment and move on. Maybe if you contact the site owner then they can take it down.

I saw my craft fantasy pack on minecraft freemods.com It's technically on the grey side of legality because its stolen but has no copyright. They just ignore me. It inferiates me to see all the hours of work gone to waste so they can get paid and I get no xp or 0% credit. So yeah its a bad thing try to demand they take it off unless they link downloaders to the original post.
