That's a really cool design. I have never seen anything like that before. It would be great for faction servers.

Really? I've tested this several times both on servers and on single player :/ Try using stairs then. The reason I didn't use stairs is because I sometimes fell when using them. And I'm very sure a full block won't work because I always fell when using them. Hopefully that helps =)
