Hello fellow builders.

I believe i speak on a lot of Minecrafters behalf when i say this:
Why can't we build different half slabs on top of each other? For me who's building a lot, this "feature" would be very useful.
I hope Mojang implements this feature in the near future.
What do you think? Please leave a comment below.

I like the idea of the Double half slab with different slabs...
I also like most of the ideas given by everyone else...
I do hope Mojang makes a little update including this.

But it would still be quite handy for builders. Maybe individually they would be ugly, but when combined with other builds/blocks, it would be very need.

the already full textures are ugly enough, if you've seen them.

KearlaCan't they make two half slabs, into a completely new block, with the two textures combined?

Yeah, but they would have to reprogram a lot of mechanics to do so.

That would just be adding a new block, a lot of blocks yes, but it wouldn't cause preformed with issues if they just put a brick texture on top of a quartz texture.

But then they'd have to remove a lot of half-slab mechanics and have them replaced.
Not only that, but there are 10 slabs, do a little math... They'd have to add 100 new block textures, and most of them would be ugly to start with!

It has been discussed before, currently as the game is coded it is impossible to implement without causing performance issues.

It would be nice, but atm impossible, maybe in a year or two!

Not thick enough. Besides, I will complain until I get vertical cobble slabs.
